HELLO.
twothirtyfive is a London-based video production studio specialising in storytelling-led content for brands, artists, and creative spaces.
Abbey Mills Market is a rare blend of history, creativity, and community. From its working watermill to the mix of artists, makers, and food vendors, there’s a rich story waiting to be told.
Our vision is to capture the spirit of Abbey Mills — creating short films and social content that feel authentic, human, and full of life. We want people to see Abbey Mills and instantly feel they have to visit — not just for what’s here, but for the atmosphere and stories behind it.
OBJECTIVES.
People don’t just visit markets for what’s on sale — they come for connection, character, and discovery. The best markets in London have become destinations because of the stories they tell.
Abbey Mills already has all of that raw material — history, art, craft, and community — it just hasn’t been shown in a way that invites people into the story.
By shifting from simple visuals to human storytelling, we can:
Strengthen Abbey Mills’ identity as more than a market — a creative hub with heritage.
Attract new visitors and higher calibre vendors who resonate with that creative ethos.
OUR VISION
Abbey Mills is a unique space with history, creativity, and community at its core. Here’s a snapshot of the kinds of stories we see opportunity in:
1. Meet the Makers
Each visit we focus on a vendor, capturing their craft, process, and personality.
Every mini episode / clip explores something new — a different question, insight, or creative moment.
Examples: “What inspires you this week?” / “A secret tip you love to share?” / “Favourite memory at Abbey Mills?”
Over time, the series builds a richer picture of the market and its creative community.
2. Behind the Scenes & Tips
Quick insights into processes, tricks, or “how it’s made” moments.
Gives followers a peek behind the curtain and highlights the skill behind each stall.
3. History & Heritage
Mini-series exploring the mill’s history, architecture, and its role in London’s past.
Could include personal memories or archival visuals to bring the story alive.
4. Nature & Atmosphere
Showcasing the surrounding greenery, water, and ambience — emphasising Abbey Mills as a destination, not just a market.
5. Events & Community
Highlight upcoming events, special market days, and seasonal activity.
Include vox pops / reactions from visitors to capture the atmosphere during food, vintage, or craft markets.
Next Steps:
These ideas are a starting point — after our next in-person visit and meeting the vendors, we can refine them into a full content plan with specific series, formats, and timelines.
REFERENCES.
A short introduction to a vendor, highlighting who they are, what they do, and what inspired their story or brand. This builds connection with the audience and showcases the people behind Abbey Mills.
Short, snappy videos where vendors share tips, tricks, or “how-to” moments related to their craft.
Could tie into seasonal themes, current events, or things visitors can try at home.
Vendors share a quick insight: history, process, or what makes them unique. This highlights their personality and craft, adding depth and authenticity.
Short videos taking viewers behind the scenes of each vendor’s craft.
Show the “how-to” process — from cooking a dish, arranging flowers, painting eggs, to other creative steps.

“My team and I are genuinely impressed with your work. It’s truly beautiful & you’ve done an excellent job.”
